It is with pleasure to inform you that the Centre de santé dentaire Dr. Thu Nguyen will hold, for a third consecutive year, a fundraiser for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada from May 6th to 24th 2019. The clinic will donate 10$ to the MS Society for each patient exam and cleaning carried out by our dental hygienists. Last year, we amassed 1120$ in donations for this cause!
Our front desk assistant Nancy, along with a few colleagues, will take part in the MS walk on Sunday May 26th in the Parc de la Cité in St-Lambert. She has been living with multiple sclerosis for a few years and our team wants to support her as much possible.
About the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada
Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world. MS is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system comprising the brain, spinal cord and optic nerve. It is one of the most common neurological diseases affecting young adults in Canada. Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 40, and the unpredictable effects of MS last for the rest of their lives. The MS Society provides services to people with MS and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease.
